Meet the founder of Move Adventures a sports medicine pro turned active travel.
Why I Started Move Adventures
Have you ever wondered what it actually takes to turn a “someday” dream into a life built around adventure? For me, it started in a sports medicine clinic, not on a mountain.
I spent six years studying and working in sports medicine, helping people reduce pain, regain strength, and move better. Day after day I watched the same pattern: someone would come in stiff and guarded, afraid to move because moving had started to hurt.
Then, slowly, through the right kind of movement, they'd get their strength back. Their confidence back. Sometimes, their whole life back.
One idea from those years never let go of me: movement is medicine. That belief is the reason Move Adventures exists.

What “Movement Is Medicine” Means for You
“Movement is medicine” isn't just a tagline, it's the operating principle behind every adventure travel experience I guide. Here's what that looks like on the trail:
A hard climb clears your head. Physical effort has a way of untangling a mind that's been stuck in a loop for weeks.
A long trail day resets your mood more effectively than almost anything else.
Pushing past what's comfortable teaches you something sitting still never will.
Proper fuel plus time outdoors does the rest. The body knows how to heal itself when you give it what it needs.
This is the foundation of every trekking training plan, group expedition, and piece of outdoor movement coaching I share through Move Adventures.

From Sports Medicine Clinic to Active Travel Guide
After years in sports medicine, I started asking a different question: what if, instead of only treating people after something went wrong, I could help them build the daily movement habits that keep them strong and resilient in the first place?
That question became my work as an active travel guide, and it's why Move Adventures blends real wellness mentorship, backed by sports medicine training, with transformative guided group trips around the world.
Credentials Built on the Trail, Not Just in the Classroom
I don't just coach this philosophy, I live it, and I test every strategy on myself before I bring it to a group. Last year alone, I backpacked more than 500 miles, including the West Highland Way in Scotland and the Tour du Mont Blanc through the Alps. Between expeditions, I climb, bike, trail run, and lift heavy things, always looking for new terrain to test my own training on.
Based in Italy, with roots in the U.S. and Argentina, I've guided travelers across a wide range of landscapes and cultures, and every mile becomes research for the training plans, fueling strategies, and travel guidance I share with clients.

Ready to Start Moving?
I've met so many people who say, “It's a dream of mine to go there someday.” I used to be one of them. Many of the places I've now reached on foot once felt completely out of reach, and I want to help you close that same gap.
That's why education, not just guiding, sits at the center of every Move Adventures trip. Sports medicine gave me the knowledge. Adventure travel gave me the platform to share it. Now it's your turn to move often and venture far.
